Colorado Springs Family Photographer-----------------------The Kugler Family

These are just a FEW shots from this amazing shoot with this seriously sweet family. I had so much fun with the Kuglers: Stephanie(mom), Dan(dad), Nathan(son) & Abby(daughter). They are all so photogenic!!! I asked them beforehand if they would be my guinea pigs at this new location I've been wanting to try out FOREVER & voila'...they said yes. I was thrilled, because it was a gorgeous day, the sun was out & the location was really neat; they liked it & I liked it. Love finding new places to hold sessions at. Always on the lookout...something new, something that has never been done before. Anyway, I was so happy they obliged my request & we then meandered over to the stick sculptures on Colorado College Campus for a few more shots to end the evening. Once that sun drops behind the mountains it's darn right CHILLY!;) Merry Christmas Kugler Family...I loved receiving your Christmas card. Great choices!!!

Colorado Springs/Old Colorado City Family Photographer-----------The Huisinga Family

1st time meeting this family...LOVED them!!! We had so many ironies as we talked during the session, I couldn't believe it. Was definitely a session destined by God. I felt honored that they chose me to photograph their amazing family. They have moved all over the country, but now have plans to move overseas...wow!!! I so thoroughly enjoyed our beautiful afternoon together. Did I mention their great sense of fashion? I would've never thought to put navy blue, gold & cranberry together...yet, it looked so bold & striking...plus it worked perfectly against the urban city backdrop. I promise this was NOT planned, just worked out GREAT!!! Love it when that happens. =) Many Blessings to you Huisinga Family...many blessings!!!

Colorado Springs Photographer------------------------------------The Keuck Family

So...funny story, this session is actually round #2. See, we originally met up at Fox Run Park on a VERY chilly, VERY windy day. We DID in fact take pictures, but everyone's lips were turning blue & shivers & tears...well, you know the rest. We decided it would be best to wait till the next day & try again. Thanks to Colorado's constant changing weather, the next day was beautiful & about 40 degrees warmer. This time around we got smiles, giggles & hugs. So glad I was able to capture these sweet family images for you & your family Lynn. May you treasure them for years to come.
Blessings,
Courtney

Colorado Springs Family Photographer-----------------------The Normans & Sister

Nothing makes you feel young like being around the young. This beautiful couple contacted me & asked for pictures while their sister was out visiting from Florida. Erica (the sister) is taking the pictures over to Korea for their parents for Christmas. It was so fun getting to know this beautiful trio. They were giggely, carefree & totally reminded me of a Gap advertisement in everything they did. LOVED the sister's boots...hence why I HAD to take a shoe-shot.=) It's kinda my thing!!! My trademark if you will. Ha! Anyway, I had a great time at this warm session & was so happy they inquired about me.
Blessings,
Courtney

Colorado Springs Family Photographer----------------------------The Harmon Family

One of my FAVORITE families of all time...because they are some of our best friends! This family CAN'T take a bad picture; they are all beautiful inside & out. Love them! Janise & I coordinated our thoughts & plans & outfits (well theirs)clear back in August with this session in mind. I scoped the perfect little secret spot at Rock Ledge Ranch & she went shopping. Together we used some fun props we had previously used, threw in some candy-canes & happy faces & voila'=PERFECTION! The light couldn't have been more perfect; it was a wintery pale sky & the cool undertones of the trees around them were the complete additon to their bright pops of reds & blues. I had so much fun at this shoot...we all laughed till we cried. I am thankful for friendship & for photography & when I can combine the best of both worlds---life is good. =)
Blessings,
Courtney

Colorado Springs Couples Photographer----------------------------Pamela & Kurt

What a fabulous session this was!!! I had the honor of joining this sweet couple on their property off of Hodgen Rd. It was everything Pamela described & more...red barn, vintage tractor, wheat feilds & gorgeous custom built home with wrap-around porch. I adored my time with Pamela & Kurt. They were so hospitable & so comfortable around me & the camera. I told them "You make marriage look sexy" & I meant it. After 30 some years together...the love they have for one another was so obvious; it was beautiful. Kurt had just returned from a long weekend at a men's retreat & he was clearly eager to be back home with his woman!!! They were all about aiming to please & allowed me to carry out all kinds of crazy ideas I had for them...which made it a dream shoot. I told them, not everyone is so compliant!;) Thanks again for a wonderful afternoon. Loved working with you both. Here's to many, many more years together. I look forward to our next session together...whenever that may be.
Blessings,
Courtney
