Colorado Springs Newborn Photographer----Newborn Megan---2 weeks & 3 days old

This family has grown close to my heart over the last year...I've been blessed to photograph sweet Clark & Hank in their sibling roles, as well as Susie's maternity pictures while carrying baby Meg, witnessed the miracle of life at her home-birth & now I watched them interact as a new family of 5 today!!! Amazing, adorable, patient & tender is how I would best describe the Campbell family. Motherhood looks soooo good on Susie (I don't know if she even realizes it). She's got the post-pregnancy glow while holding, nursing & interacting with Meg---if there IS such a thing!;) Clark & Hank are the best big brother & sister around...too cute! Not to mention Ian---the doting & oh-so responsible husband and father. Not only did I get to photograph sweet baby fingers & toes today, but they let me crash their coffee/birthday party for Miss Hank who turned 3 today!!! She's probably the sweetest 3 yr. old I've met YET. Love those big round eyes & the innocence behind her petite voice---too cute for words; really!!! I loved capturing every task, big & small, every kiss, hug & "burp". It was a pleasure to be a part today---thanks guys, once again, for allowing me the honor...

Colorado Springs Children Photographer---Sadie's Vintage/Fashionista Shoot

A girl after my own heart...that's my Sadie-girl. I didn't have to ask her to pose or what to do...she just KNEW. Not only does she naturally love to "model" like I did as a little girl, but she thrives on it!!! =) We had such a great time, just her & I----it was good bonding time. I was THRILLED with the beautiful weather...golden sunset, no wind, warm enough to wear a tu-tu & flip-flops!=)I was sooo happy with how each & every photo turned out---it was hard to narrow it down to a select few for the blog (of course I'm baised, she's my daughter)!!! I can't wait for another opportunity to do a shoot with her. And of course I also loved being able to use my fun, new props & putting her outfits together!!!I love you Sadie soooo very much!!!

Colorado Springs Children/Family Photographer---Miss Clara B.---turns "1"

Love, Love, Loved meeting this precious little girl named Clara B. on Saturday! She's turning ONE this month of May & her wonderful parents wanted to capture her sweet smile, "oh" face & shoulder shrug at this sweet age. I so enjoyed getting to know Callie, Brandon & their adorable daughter, Clara B. as we ventured into wheat feilds for cupcake smashes, balloon/tu-tu humor & vintage shots at the arcade in Manitou. It was a full day of fun all around & I was so happy to be able to capture some special moments for the DelGrosso Family. Thank you both so much...hope you LOVE your photos!!!

Colorado Springs Event/Newborn Photographer---Live Birth/Newborn---Megan Mae

On Saturday night, April 30th, I had the privilege of photographing & witnessing my first home birth with a midwife. It was amazing!!! Before I proceed, let me tell you, I have 100% permission to post pictures & share the amazing story from Susie Campbell herself!!! She labored quickly and beautifully & by beautifully I mean, she was strong & did it naturally---Megan was born at 8:43pm with 10 fingers & 10 toes, cute as cute can be!!! I cried of course; as did everyone in the room I'm sure. =)Through blood, sweat, tears, screaming, vomiting & a few curse words---the end result was worth it ALL...a gift from God!!! Baby Megan is such a blessing & sweet addition to their already adorable family!!!
