Monument Children Photographer---Miss Bekah
Sensational at Six...meet Bekah, she just turned...yep, you guessed it---6!!! She is a friend of my daughters & my friend's daughter. I ADORED taking her photos!!! Bekah is one of those types of people that makes my job easy...the camera loves her. We started at her amazing & charming home (in the backyard) in front of their oh-so-perfect backdrop (from a photographer's perspective). I always ask to shoot there when I'm at their house. Then we fancied on back to their empty lot which I refer to as the golden wheat feild---it, too, is amazing & I love it. Then I took Becca to a new little spot I scoped out a couple of weeks ago...the grafitti wall at the local art center. PERFECT for kids around this age if I do say so myself. =) Thanks Becca for being a "dream." Hope you LOVE them Amy!!! Can't wait to take more pictures of Ryan & your family as a whole. P.S. Did you happen to notice her sense of style...LOVE!!!
Blessings,
Courtney

Colorado Springs Newborn/Babies/Children/Family Photographer---Sweet Baby Verona
Oh, sweet baby Verona---you captured my heart!!! Lord knows how insanely windy it has been lately, so I wasn't sure how Verona would tolerate it, but she was amazing! She is one of the happiest babies (6 month olds) I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She sported the cutest curly pig tails & spring denim dress. Then we did a wardrobe change into a fabulous fuscia tu-tu with matching flower headband & adorning flower patchwork sweater. A-dorable!!! It was a little chaotic chasing our families around, working in/out of the sun & wind---but all the while Verona kept a sweet smile on her face. A dream photoshoot!!! BUT, probably the most memorable part of all was having a bride/groom show up with another photographer & his assistant. Not because this has never happened before, but because while snapping pictures of Verona we turned to hear Aiden & Sawyer (Danilee's son & my son) yelling "kiss her on the lips, kiss her on the lips" while standing just two feet from the new bride & groom!!! We laughed pretty hard---not sure if it was from pure embarassement or what exactly; needless to say we left shortly after. =) Thanks for a very fun photoshoot with your sweet baby Verona. Hope you LOVE your pictures...can't wait to take your family ones this summer!
Blessings,
Courtney

Manitou Springs Children/Family Photographer---The Van Tongeren Siblings
I had the privilege of photographing Blake,(almost 6) Logan, (4) & Dekker, (almost 2) on Saturday in colorful Manitou Springs!!! What a joy it was to be able to follow these cuties around while Jeni(their mom & my friend) & I got to catch up. They were all so happy & compliant to go & do exactly what I asked...of course colored twizzlers, hot chocolate & cotton candy may have helped a bit too!;) Jeni, I hope you love your photos & I was able to capture your kid's personalities perfectly for you!!! Thanks again---love ya bunches! =)

Project 52: week 9---"Express Yourself"
This week's theme, "Express Yourself" was a really fun one! I found this photo Jori took of me last summer while we were on our family vacation in South Padre Island. I feel like it's a sneak peek into who I am...my personality!!! I'm uninhibited, spontaneous, I like to have a good time & remember a memory by capturing it on "film." I'm definitely NOT afraid to express myself...especially when having a good time. I have always worn my heart on my sleeve & don't think I'll ever change. Take me or leave me...this is who I am. =)

Manitou Springs Children Photographer----Sawyer's Skater/Rocker Shoot
Sawyer & I went down to Old Colorado City this past week during one of the gorgeous non-windy 65 degree days & took pics!!! I had so much fun with him...he came up with a lot of his own creative poses & I just snapped away!!! We did a wardrobe change & a quick flip of the props & click, click, click. We enjoyed the warmth of the sun, exploring new backdrops & a hotfudge sunday from McD's afterwards. All in all it was a JOYFUL & memorable time!!! P.S. I freaked out when I began editing these because my "baby" looks SOOO grown up; almost made me cry!!!
Love you Sawyer,
your Ma-Ma

Project 52: week 8---"The View from Here"
This week's theme for MCP's Actions Project 52 is "The View from Here" & this was photo was taken a few weekends back with my family. We stopped for a brisk walk in the wheat feilds on a Saturday late morning/early afternoon. I love, love, love this spot & the view from this spot is gorgeous in every direction--all 365 degrees around no matter where you stand. The mountains, the Colorado blue sky, the clouds, the golden sun hitting the feilds. I love living here & feel very blessed everyday. P.S. The two little dots in the picture are my children (son/daughter) running up the path. Another beautiful memory captured & remembered.
