Colorado Springs Maternity Photographer---"Expecting" a Son

I had the honor of taking the pictures of another young & beautiful expecting mom. I would definitely say that the baby boy bun growing in Melanie's oven is doing her right...she had that glow too; from head to toe!!! I loved the time we spent together this past Saturday morning...it was more intimate than I lot of my shoots; the location being inside their home. I was able to see baby Hudson's nursery, hear stories, see ultra-sound pictures & feel the warmth & love they have for one another. Little sister (to be), Saige, was definitely entertaining!!! I adore the very last set of pictures I was able to capture between her & her ma-ma...comparing bellies, talking about baby brother & giving him kisses; so sweet, she'll be such a good little helper when Hudson arrives. Many blessings to you Bishop family!!!I can't wait to meet your new little guy---so very soon. =)

Old Colorado City Maternity Photographer---Ma-Ma of 3 (soon to be)!!!

This was my long-awaited "Bohemian Maternity Photoshoot" I could not stop talking about!!! Susie, ma-ma of two & soon to be three was so inspiring...I give her all the credit. She knew what she wanted & where she wanted it. I had the most incredible time because of her style, spunk & spirit. Due to the sun dropping quickly & the chilly temperatures we didn't get to experience 100% bohemian as much as downtown urban/java...but we both threw our lists out the window & went with it. I think these pictures turned out amazing!!! I couldn't have asked for a more adorable pregnant belly & body---Susie was even stopped in a back alley while I was photographing her & told how "skinny" & "cute" she is!!! Hello...I certainly don't remember getting compliments like that when I was expecting!;) Well, I could go on & on about how special & unique this photoshoot was, but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Project 52: week 7----"Open your HEART"

Love this image of a "heart" over a baby bump---it shows that a ma-ma to be is opening her heart to her unborn child. So much love to give & she hasn't even met her yet! =) Brings a smile to my face. This is also a sneek-peek of a maternity photoshoot I just wrapped up lastnight. Can't wait to post more images to my blog SOON!!! Stay posted for more goodies...
