Colorado Springs Children's Photographer--------------The Croak Siblings

This was my 1st Valentine's Mini-Session of the weekend (out of 10). To start things off...let's just say I was beyond pleasantly surprised when these ADORABLY dressed kiddos all hopped out of the mini-van. WOW!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVED their outfits...mostly hand-made by their awesome mom. Pink tu-tu's, converse, heart-shaped knee high socks, each wearing shirts with valentine fabric monogramed letters on them. Over the top cuteness!!! Oh & if that wasn't enough...mom brought a home-made banner for me to use for a prop. Wish i could've kept it. Thanks Shannon for all of your amazing help & patience during this early, chilly morning! I had a blast with your kiddos & hope I have the opportunity to work with you all again.

Colorado Springs Baby Photographer-----1yr. old Tucker's Cake Smash (part 1)

Oh my did I have a blast with this little guy!!! Tucker...truly, one of the cutest babies I have EVER laid eyes on. So incredibly happy & full of JOY...he even did the "wiggle" dance for me. hee-hee! This was part 1 of his full session. I love doing Cake Smashes because you never know how a 1yr. old is going to react???!!! Cry, laugh, dig in or turn the other cheek. Tucker did take a little coaxing, but after a few mouth fulls of chocolate, he was ready for more!=) He really did a number on this adorable cake (by LK Cakes...find her on FB by the way). She makes the perfect 4" size "Cake Smash" cake. Not only are they adorable, but delicious. This cake smash was a hit & I can't wait to get to part 2...downtown urban Tucker. Stay tuned for more...

Colorado Springs Children's Photographer------The Dale Kids

On a fairly warm winter's day I took these cuties along with my cuties down to Rock Ledge Ranch for a playdate/mini-shoot. I had fun getting close-ups of sweet Bekah in her furry hood & adorable Ryan in his bright puffy vest. Then the 5 of us toured the rest of the ranch, checking out the animals, creek, hiking trails, etc. It was a fun impromptu kind of day (the best kind).=) Oh & later, ended up ordering B&W prints for Bekah's mom in 11x14 of all the amazing close-ups. Ooh-la-la!!!;)

Colorado Springs Family Photographer-------------------The Lehman Family

Another fabulous family...another fabulous location!!! Meet Shana, Kelly, Taylor & Tucker. We planned this session months ago...& when they arrived here all the way from Biloxi, Missouri; I changed things on them. You see, the morning we planned on was supposed to be snowing & a high of 11 degrees (bbbrrrr), so I spontaneously asked them if we could do the day before (after they got done driving all the way across the country 20 some odd hours)! Yes, it was a brave question, even for me, but I thought...what is there to lose? So glad it worked out & so thankful for their flexibility; because of it---we ended up with amazing photos for them to forever cherish & remember Colorado. Thanks Lehman family for being so compliant; I had a blast with all of you. Hope you enjoyed your every moment here in the Springs & Georgia during Christmas break. Many blessings to you!!!

Colorado Springs/Castle Rock Family Photographer------The Sparks Family

I LOVE this family soo, soo much!!! I have been taking their photos since Meghan was pregnant with little Jonah. Now he's almost 2...whoah!!! Where does the time go? I have also had the privledge of working along side her in her Preschool classroom at Antelope Trails Elementary for a maternity leave. It was so much fun...not to mention, I got to eat lunch with my kiddos & see them in the halls everyday. It was pretty special, but crazy-hectic during the fall with my photography business at it's pinnacle. Phew!!! Needless to say, I was tired. But enough of that. This session was chilly, snowy & beautiful regardless. Poor little Jonah took a few spills in the snowy piles & that was the end of it...he was sooo very cold, we called it a wrap early. But that's what I love about these guys; they are all so chillax, go with the flow...makes my job easy. Love the pictures I did capture & can't wait for my next session with you Sparks Fam.
